Here’s a vinous story that embraces three continents, yet is firmly rooted in the fertile soils of the Breede River valley. Lozärn wines are handcrafted on the Doornbosch farm in Bonnievale by Salome Buys-Vermeulen, the winner of the 2021 Woman Winemaker competition.

• Aroma: Light ruby with a brick-red rim. Herbaceous notes of tea leaf lead on the nose, layered with vibrant red cherry and subtle cranberry aromas
• Palate: Bright cranberry and red cherry flavours dominate a full yet elegant palate, supported by dry tannins and a lingering rhubarb-like finish
• Pairs well with roast duck with cherry glaze or herb-crusted pork tenderloin
