Saxenburg Wine Estate lies in the Polkadraai Hills of Stellenbosch, an area increasingly recognised for producing expressive Syrah with both ripeness and natural freshness. The vineyards benefit from cooling maritime breezes moving inland from False Bay, helping preserve acidity and aromatic detail while allowing slow, even ripening.

• Nose: An array of biltong spice characters such as black pepper, cumin, cloves and nutmeg
• Palate: Notes of mint and violet complement the spice characteristics.
