Vrede en Lust, a family-owned and managed wine estate, is nestled at the foothills of the Simonsberg in South Africa’s most celebrated Franschhoek wine valley. The history of the farm dates back to 1688 and discloses a story of vision, passion and pride.

• This appealing Shiraz is an elegant wine with supple fruit and spice balance, prompting the name change to Syrah.
• The grapes were picked by hand, the selected blocks fermented separately, and only blended after maturation.
• Lady J Syrah presents a deep, vibrant ruby color with a rich, complex bouquet.
• On the nose, you'll find intense aromas of ripe blackberries, dark plums, and black cherries, accented by notes of black pepper, cloves, and sweet spices.
• These primary aromas are complemented by hints of smoky oak, dark chocolate, and a subtle earthiness.
