Peat, once the primary fuel of rural Ireland, lends its sweet smokiness to this revival of tradition. Made with Irish-harvested peat and barley grown on the Fenniscourt farm in Co. Carlow, this 38 ppm peated single malt from Waterford’s Arcadian Farm Origins celebrates Ireland’s earthy, wild roots. Combining smoky, earthy, saline, and subtly spicy notes, it reflects the purity of old-world craftsmanship. Only 11,500 bottles were produced worldwide, with just 500 available in South Africa.

Product Features

• Colour: Rich buttermilk with fabulous oils.
• Nose: Turf (peat), saltiness, pear skin, woodland moss, hay, lemon skin, dried thyme, malted biscuits, marzipan, cooked banana, sweet floralness, wattle and daub, golden syrup.
• Palate: Farm tastes, dry rub that you would use on a BBQ, bog myrtle, clovesweets, leather, maraschino cherry, barley husks, gooseberry jam.
