Private Collection Sauvignon Blanc 2024

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
• Previous vintage awards: 5 Star Value Michael Fridjhon Wine Wizard, 4 Star Platter, 91 Points WineMag Prescient Report.
• Different parcels were picked, destemmed and given skin contact, after which was fermented separately in stainless steel tanks.
• The components were aged on the gross lees for 4 months, with occasional lees stirring before blending and bottling.
• An inviting nose with aromas of pear, papaya, gooseberries, and kiwi fruit that leads to a palate with beautiful concentration and texture. 
• The natural acidity lends an incredible sense of minerality and purity to the wine.
• Drinking beautifully on release, but will gain complexity and texture over the next 3 - 5 years.
• Enjoy on its own, or share with friends over a cheese and charcuterie board.
• Alcohol by Volume: 14%

Private Collection Chardonnay 2023

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
• Previous vintage awards: 91 Points Tim Atkin, Double Gold (93 Points) Veritas, 4 Star Platter
• This wine is 100% French oak fermented, but only with a small percentage of new oak.
• 10% new 500ℓ French oak barrels were used, and the balance of the wine was in older 500ℓ, 300ℓ and 225ℓ barrels for 11 months.
• On the nose expect lemon, cut green apples, fresh bread, nuts and a hint of beeswax.
• The palate is long and lingering, with a refreshing acidity.
• Drinks beautifully on release, but will gain complexity for 5 – 10 years from vintage.
• It will complement most fish dishes or can be enjoyed with lighter meat dishes and creamy pastas.
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.46%

Private Collection Syrah 2021

• Award: 5 Star Platter.
• The palate is fresh, inviting and well-integrated.
• It has a medium body with a lingering finish.
• There is a beautiful ruby colour to the wine.
• The nose has alluring spice notes of freshly crushed black pepper, white pepper, cloves, cumin and coriander seeds.
• The spice notes are lifted by violet blossoms, cassis, black cherries and ripe blackberries.
• Pairs well with grilled steak.
• Alcohol by Volume: 14.16%

Private Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
• Previous award: 4.5 Star Platter.
• As is typical with Cabernet Sauvignons from the Polkadraai Hills ward, this wine has an incredible freshness and elegance to it, even though the tannins are still young and firm.
• Beautiful aromas of tobacco leaves, plums and blackcurrant lead to a palate that is nicely weighted and finely grained.
• This elegant wine will compliment most red meat dishes, venison, or creamy beef stroganoff.
• Alcohol by Volume: 14.25%

Guinea Fowl Red 2022

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
• Previous Vintage Awards: 4 Star & Good Value Platter Award.
• A vibrant ruby to garnet colour, the nose shows initial dark fruit aromas like blackcurrant, cassis and black cherry, supported by whiffs of vanilla, cinnamon and dark chocolate
• The palate is beautifully weighted and juicy, with a dense but finely-grained tannin structure
• Enjoy with various red meat dishes.
• Varietals: 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 17% Merlot, 15% Malbec
• Alcohol by Volume: 14.12%

Guinea Fowl Chenin 2024

• A concentrated fruit forward nose comprised of ripe peach, apricot, litchi, white pear and cape gooseberries. 
• Subtle honeycomb notes support this vibrant fruit array and accompany hints of stone fruit blossoms. 
• The palate is rich with a coating mouthfeel and balanced acidity.
• A moreish wine that can be enjoyed by the glass or can accompany a wide variety of tapas dishes.
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.5%
