About
Humanity’s golden age is over. What remains is endless desert, scattered ruins, and small settlements clinging to survival through the last traces of humidity and greenery. You are one of the desert travelers, crossing the wastelands between the Akaishi Mountains and the cliffs of Seaclaw, guiding your loyal giant caterpillar mount across dunes to trade goods, earn gold, and - knowingly or not - help restore life to this barren land by transporting precious plant life to forgotten corners of the world.
Sand is a beautifully illustrated pick-up-and-deliver strategy game by Ariel Di Costanzo and Javier Pelizzari. Designed for 1–4 players, it challenges you to optimize routes, care for your caterpillar, fulfill missions, and gather companions to support your journey. At the end of the game, only the traveler with the most gold after six rounds (or five with four players) will be remembered as the one who brought prosperity back to the sands.
